We are establishing at a number of universities a FED fellowship program to make it possible for graduate and advanced degrees candidates in business schools to specialize in employee ownership. The current schools are MIT, Rutgers, Carnegie Mellon, San Diego State University, University of San Diego, and University of California San Diego.

Rutgers is seeking applications for their program. See their poster (PDF, 84k) for more information. Please tell us if you know someone particularly deserving.

How about Post-Doctoral programs? A benefit would be potential for publishing – myself as an example will complete my PhD next month – and my list of publishing is limited – this does not help my vitae when applying for an academic position.

Blake: I’ll bring up your idea with Mary Ann Beyster, who runs the FED. — Bob

Blake, there is a post-doctoral fellowship at Rutgers. This fellowship will support pre-tenure scholars and recent Ph.D. graduates. They are open for applications. Please see the pdf document on our web site: http://www.fed.org/beysterfellowships.asp
