Peter Economy and I attended a book signing event for our book, The SAIC Solution, at Warwick’s Bookstore in La Jolla on April 19th. There were over 70 attendees, most of whom were either personal friends or ex-employees of SAIC. The group was very responsive and asked some good questions. Howard Wilson, an ex-SAIC employee who had worked with me many years ago, asked me why we didn’t flag the importance of the health care business along with defense, energy, and the environment as an important research area for SAIC to work in since the company has so much health care business. This is the kind of omission that we hope others will inform us of, preferably via this blog. By the way, Warwick’s sold every copy the book that they had on hand for our event.

    Bob,

I look forward to reading you book. I missed the signing in McLean, didn’t hear about it until after the fact. How do I obtain a signed copy?

Ken: Good to hear from you. I’ll be back in DC towards the end of June. You can still order signed copies by clicking the link on the home page of the FED website (www.fed.org)
