Beyster’s Blog is a technology initiative of the Foundation for Enterprise Development (FED), a private operating foundation, focusing on fostering science, technology, and the promotion of free enterprise. We went live with the first version of the blog in April 2006. It has been an interesting experiment. We succeeded in our first objective to reach out broadly for input to support Dr. Beyster’s book.
The blog proved to be a new technology solution used in a very well established industry, the publishing industry. Now with the book published, we are extending and expanded the blog’s functionality to further dialog on the book and topics of interest to Dr. Beyster and the FED. Perhaps another book in the making! We hope you enjoy and provide feedback of the use of this technology.
The FED initiates and supports research, thought leadership, and education that advances and transfers the key principles and practices successfully used to grow SAIC to future generations of technical leaders. It was Dr. Beyster’s dedication to employing science and technology to solve important problems of national and global importance—and sharing the wealth with those who help build the company—that led, in part, to the tremendous success of SAIC.
