Things have been quiet here for a while. The weather has been pretty bad, making it difficult to get around. At least it wasn’t snow. Today Mary Ann and I met with Dean Sullivan and Len LaFebre at UCSD during a wind and rain storm to discuss the future of the Beyster Institute. Weather permitting, tonight we’ll be heading to the Xconomy forum on Physics for Future Presidents put together by Bruce Bigelow, former business editor for the Union-Tribune newspaper. Still no news about the new book, but three or four publishers have shown interest. Since the weather is so unpredictable I’m not sure if we’ll get out on Solutions this week — hopefully we will.
