Well, we are just about to send the manuscript to our publisher. We will finish it this weekend and send it out on Monday. I think they will like it. I’m going to take next week off for some much needed rest. Thank you all for your contributions, your blog postings, and your encouragement along the way. I have enjoyed reading your comments. I look forward to getting back to work when I return.

I look forward to reading the book when published. Oh, did you include anything on the “America’s Cup” and SAIC’s contribution?

    Hi Bob,

It is now nine years since we sat at dinner discussing your FED, Kaufman Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership, Arthur D. Little, Inc., and SAIC.

One cannot understate the importance of your reality centered process of developing an running SAIC. Your process yielded the combination of employee ownership, a corporate culture of encouraging everyone to find one’s own light and demonstrate that it can shine, plus the focussed will to provide a context that looks to the long-term when human nature is short-term focussed. These are enabling mechanisms for the next stages in the development of organized human enterprise. SAIC-like organizations are necessary for sustainable societies and the future of humankind.

I look forward to reading your book,

    Gary
